Cook Children’s Alexander Vision Center provides free eye exams and prescription eye glasses to low vision children in the North Texas area who meet certain low income criteria. Any child in a family that sits at 150% of the Federal Poverty Level and isn’t covered by Medicaid or private insurance is eligible for care at the Alexander Vision Center.

VSP Sight For Students

Rancho Cordova, CA

VSP Global’s Sight for Students is a gift certifcate program that provides access to no-cost eye care and prescription glasses to youth up to the age of 19. Any youth in a family that operates at or under 200% of the Federal Poverty Level and isn’t covered through private insurance or a government program is eligible to receive a Sight for Students voucher.

Sight Savers America is a non-profit organization that specializes in providing initial screenings, immediate eye care, and long term low vision care to children in need throughout the Southern US region. Availability of and eligibility for service varies by state.

Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company is a new venture by Alexander Oshmyansky and Mark Cuban that is designed to make medicine more affordable in the United States. If someone knows what medication they need, they can have their doctor send a prescription directly to Cost Plus Drugs in order to buy and receive their medicine at a reduced cost.
